Learning to "see" interesting detail is a practised skill and we introduce you to easy methods that will open your photographer's eye and expose you to a world that is alive with detail. The most rewarding part of the class is learning how to approach interesting people and have them willingly pose for you.
We will also go over settings, focusing techniques and lens choices common to street photography to help us capture those random chance encounters.

Nature Macro Photography Meetup in an English Country Garden

The gardens at Stansted Park will be a blaze of colour in June, making it a perfect location for flower and macro photography. You'll learn how to capture fine details, textures and patterns that are often overlooked, using simple and effective techniques. Suitable for all experience levels, the session focuses on slowing down, observing closely and creating striking close-up images. If you don't have a macro lens we can use other techniques to explore details and the world in miniature. Smartphone shooters will also be able to capture great images!
